The Whopper Bar!
In my opinion, this will ONLY work if they serve actual burgers...not the cheap shit they serve at every Burger King restaurant ever. What do you think?

So we got Elijah an XBOX 360 along with Gears of War (360), Perfect Dark Zero (360), Halo 2 (XBOX), Fable (XBOX), and those Burger King Games that everyone has seen commercials for (360).
Most of you know how much of a hardcore Nintendo fan I am, so it may surprise you as much as it did I how awesome I think this system is! Before you even get into the games, Console OS is awesome! I'm all about updates and things like that and the fact that as soon as I hooked it up to my high speed broadband connection and it found a dashboard update rocked! Then I ran Gears of War and it recieved an update as well. The original XBOX games have to be run with an emulator built into the XBOX 360...and it recieves updates for each game you run in order to keep the environment more stable. Fable was frequently glitchy before the update...now its not so bad even though it does glitch out every now and again.
Another great feature packed into the 360 is the game achievements which you obtain every time you do something important in a 360 game (sadly it doesn't recognize anything from original XBOX games). An achievement adds ten points to your gamerscore. Obviously, the higher your gamerscore the more scared your opponents will be in an online multiplayer environment.
Possibly the coolest thing about XBOX live marketplace is the possibility to download game previews and demos...even music videos! It is definately meant to be a major multimedia center for the whole household.
We got Elijah two wireless controllers with two rechargeable battery packs. They have remarkable battery life, and the fact that it is'nt any bulkier than a standard XBOX 360 controller makes it awesome. I like not being stuck with a wire.
Now, as far as the games go...Gears of War is easily the best gun game I have ever played. The multiplayer will quite possibly keep me happy for years. I blew through the game on casual mode in about a day and a half...I've now beaten it twice on co-op mode with Elijah. I'm already looking forward to Gears of War 2!
Then Elijah and I jumped back into Fable: The Lost Chapters. I'm about half-way through it but already dreading the end of the game. I intend to obtain every item for this game...and wouldn't you know it...Fable 2 (360) is set to come out Q4 2007.
Haven't had a chance to play Perfect Dark Zero (360) yet because Elijah and I keep taking two hour long turns at playing Fable. The Burger King games are interesting but simple...I think I'll probably play through to get the achievements...just to get my gamerscore up.
What games are next?
Well, I've been looking at The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion...it looks like Fable to the 10th power...so I might rent that to check it out...Rainbow Six: Vegas looks pretty sweet too...but I don't know if I have the patience for another Rainbow Six game.
I downloaded a couple of playable demos for free through XBOX Marketplace...we'll see how those pan out and I'll update on this blog to let you know. For now...Elijah's Fable time is up and I'm headed back to the land of Albion to finish more quests...or maybe just waste time trying to locate a Dark Plate Armor Helmet to complete my Dark Plate Armor suit.
